MORE ABOUT ME
I started my design career before getting my degree at Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandise in San Francisco, CA. I worked for a small studio which helped me transition my knowledge of print layout into the digital world. After understanding my passion for digital design and visual design I took a position at a start-up company where I was working with other designers and began my focus on product design and user experience.
It has been almost 5+ years now after finding my passion for Experience/Interaction design. I positioned myself throughout the years in a way to learn from amazing people in this skill set and always look for opportunities to continue learning from others.
I have worked with some amazing companies such as TakeLessons, Salesforce, and am currently a designer at Microsoft. On my free time, I am hanging out with my daughter and wife, skating, snowboarding, gaming and also still freelance designing. I have freelanced for companies such as, GOVX, Thirstday, ThreeVentures, Photobooth Supply CO. I still continue to seek out freelance work as I believe it helps me grow in other areas. When freelancing I get to learn the 'business' side of the design world.
Wow, this was long. I apologize :)
Microsoft's Power BI
I work along side Product Management and Engineers as well as other designers to build a complete solution for data visualizations. Power BI is a data driven tool to track anything from your IT spending, Inventory, or get alerts when your MAU rises or track sales over time.
Photobooth Supply Co.
I had the great opportunity to re-brand Photobooth Supply Co which included a refresh logo system, brand guidelines and a new website shopping experience to accommodate their new line of products.
Three Ventures GOVSD
Got to be apart of a great group of people to build a new product under the ThreeVentures company wing. I worked with a product management team to help mold their amazing idea to produce a complete user workflow. We also created an internal application for management.
Worked along side another amazing designer to come up with an iOS application for those looking for the best rated happy hour by location. We also introduced reward systems and other ideas into the mix.
Worked together with the VP of Product over at GOVX on a re-brand for a shopping experience for veterans and others active in the military. We created an easy scannable design pattern to encompass all events such as MLB games, Disneyland, Movies and much more.
Two friends and I got together to create an idea around sharing products and reviews. The idea was to showcase professional in-the-field type influencers and what they liked or used on their day-to-day.
At Salesforce, I took part in a team to create internal tools to track ROI and design systems. I also was apart of a squad to help the sales organization come up with design storytelling with complete end to end design flows filled with persona based driven design.
As a UI/UX designer for TakeLessons I worked on a B2C experience which included a teachers dashboard account for self management and also a shopping experience for finding the perfect teacher for you.
A group of friends pulled together with this idea for an online store for used and new sneakers. The idea was to create a simple easy to use selling experience.
